August 2006 end landed me & my wife on the shores of Malaysia. A beautiful country,very scenic and very urbane too.
We started with a bang from the entertainment city of Malaysia-Genting Highlands.The Asia's longest mono-ropeway takes you up into the mountains,to the beautiful resort-town of Genting.This is a beautiful,never-ending ride,you cross over many hillocks,lush green forests to arrive safely at the resort.Genting is a cluster of many hotels,outdoor & indoor games arena,casino,disco,convention halls,restaurants,etc-- all rolled into one.
This is a real family destination-if you have kids,they are going to simply love this place.There are a plethora of entertainment zones-you have indoor theme park which has many rides,outdoor theme park-which has an array of crazy rides-which will make you a hero if you step into one.
Food is good and so is riding up and down on the mind-boggling escalators,which zip zap thru' the whole complex.
It's really fun being at the Genting,and we loved every moment of it.
